Charlene Altenhain
Chief Executive Officer

For over 25 years, Charlene Altenhain has brought passion, determination, and excellence to her leadership and operational roles in the for-and-non-profit sectors, with specific experience in human services, health care, hospitality, and entrepreneurship. In 2014, she proudly joined Sarasota-area non-profit The Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center now known as Caring Collective. She assumed her role as Chief Executive Officer in 2022 after serving in several capacities including Chief Operating Officer. Having worked atCaring Collective for nearly a third of its existence, she has overseen the operations of a 14 building human services campus, launched the innovative Chief Executive Peer Circle Program, and has now led an 18 month rebranding effort to increase organizational impact in our region.
